With second year head coach Allen Fitzsimmons at the helm, the Mount Holyoke squash team posted a record of 14-9 in 2009-10. Paced by junior Vidushi Gurunada, the Lyons finished with a CSA ranking of 12th nationally.

After recording a perfect 4-0 mark at its home invitational, Mount Holyoke cruised to its fourth consecutive Seven Sisters Championship two weekends later. Seven members of the team earned All-Tournament accolades at the event. The group included Gurunada , senior Laura Robinson, sophomore Shara Robertson, senior Laurian Lue Yen, first year Tempest Bowden, senior Hillela Simpson and senior Michelle Zagardo.

Mount Holyoke competed in the "B" Division of the Howe Cup National Championships. After downing Middlebury College 6-3 in the opening round of the tournament, the Lyons fell 9-0 to Dartmouth College in the semifinals. They then suffered a 5-4 setback to Bates College in the consolation contest.

A total of five Lyons ended the year with rankings in the top 100 nationally. Joining Gurunada (53) were Robertson (65), Robinson (80), Lue Yen (86) and Bowden (96).

Gurunada amassed a dual match record of 14-9, while Robertson and Robinson went 15-8 and 12-8, respectively. Lue Yen posted a 16-7 mark, while Bowden went 14-7.

Robertson, Robinson, Lue Yen and Bowden represented Mount Holyoke at the CSA Individual Championships.
