Track & Field Competes at New England Division III Championship

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Mount Holyoke College track & field team got solid efforts from three individuals to finish 21st in a field of 31 teams at the 2016 New England Division III Championships, hosted by Middlebury College at Virtue Field House.

Leading the way for MHC was senior captain Camille Coklow, who placed third overall in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.77. It was just shy of her top time this season, which she set last weekend at BU.

Classmate Elizabeth DeLeon also had a solid effort, placing 22nd overall in the 3,000-meter run. She crossed the line with a time of 10:59.40.

Rounding out the performances on Saturday was first year Ally Stoll, who was 20th overall in the 60-meter hurdles event with a time of 10.52.

The meet, which was a qualified participants only meet, was won by MIT - currently ranked second in the nation.

Next up, Mount Holyoke will be idle this week, but will return to action on March 4-5 as Coklow looks to defend her title in the 60-meter dash at the 2016 ECAC Indoor Championships, hosted at the New York City Armory.
