SETTING THE SCENE: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Engineers of WPI in the regular season finale for both teams. It marks the 31st meeting in program history. The Lyons won 10 of the first 13 matches, starting with a 2-0 victory in 1977. MHC boasts a 19-12 series advantage, but the most recent matchup saw the Engineers post a 3-0 victory.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (5-16; 0-9 NEWMAC) enters the match after battling Smith in a highly competitive 3-1 loss on Tuesday. Sophomore outside hitter Jamesa Allen led the match with 13 kills, while sophomore middle hitter Sarah Caggiano posted an 11 kill effort. The Lyons saw five players record double-digit efforts in digs, including junior outside hitter Katrina Meserve, who led the squad with 19. Senior captain and setter Natalie Lyon led with a team-high 32 assists. Lyon has 497 assists and just needs 10 more to surpass the 506 total that she posted a year ago.

The Engineers: WPI (21-8; 4-5 NEWMAC) comes into Saturday's match following a 3-0 victory over Lasell on Thursday. Senior outside hitter Maddy Werth posted a match-high 14 kills, while senior captain and libero Cassandra Tomerlin led with 13 digs and added four service aces. On the year, sophomore outside hitter Casey Hunt owns a team-best 257 kills and 321 digs. Defensivly, junior middle hitter Brooke Klepper is the team leader with 71 total blocks.
