THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke enters the match against Elms for the 16th time in program history. The first matchup was in 1997, as the Lyons upended the Blazers, 2-1. Elms has the most recent victory in 2012, but MHC owns a 9-6-1 series advantage.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (7-8-0; 2-6-0 NEWMAC) comes into the match after falling to Springfield, 2-0 on Tuesday. Sophomore Sara Sanaú Ruiz had three shots on the day, while senior captain Zoe Marshall posted a nine-save effort. Sanaú Ruiz continues to lead the NEWMAC with 12 assists, while Marshall is the conference leader in saves.

THE BLAZERS: Elms (13-2-1; 7-0 NECC) enters the match after a 6-0 shutout against Bay Path on Tuesday. Junior forward Brie Voight was active, leading the Blazers with a hat trick and an assist. Junior forward Angelina Estrada, junior Mackenzie LaRochelle, and first year midfielder Haley Richards also scored a goal in the match. On the year, Voight leads the team with 14 goals, while first year keeper Rebecca Molin leads with 39 saves.  

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke returns to the pitch on Tuesday, traveling to Smith at 3:30pm. The Blazers will be back in action on Saturday, facing Wheelock on the road at 2:00pm.
