THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Thoroughbreds of Skidmore for the ninth time in program history. The series dates back to 1990, which saw MHC pick up a 16-5 win. Skidmore has seen the most recent success, winning the previous three matchups.
 
THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-4) enters the contest on a two-game win streak after mounting a 14-13 come-from-behind victory over Western New England University on Wednesday. Senior captain Charlotte Wagner led the way with six goals, while junior Leila Kouakou had five. Junior midfielder Kaitlin Braz notched four assists. On the season, Wagner leads the team and is fifth in the NEWMAC in goals with 20, while Braz has a team-high six assists. Senior keeper Isa Rodriguez is the team-leader in saves with 31.

THE THOROUGHBREDS: Skidmore (3-3) is coming off of an 8-4 loss to Hamilton on Tuesday. Sophomore Cas Szwajkowski led with two goals, while senior Rachel Talanian had a game-best seven ground balls. Classmate Megan Kolopsky played all 60 minutes and recorded 10 saves. For the season, Szwajkowski has a team-best 25 goals, while Kolopsky leads the team with 41 saves.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke begins a three-game road swing, starting with Emerson on Wednesday at 6:00pm. Skidmore returns home to faceoff against the University of Rochester at 4:00pm on Friday.
