GAME CHANGE: Due to the expected cold weather in the Pioneer Valley on Saturday, March 4, the game will now be played on Sunday, March 5 at 1pm.

THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes Bridgewater State for the 22nd time in program history. The series dates back to 1985, which saw the Bears upend the Lyons, 9-5. MHC holds an 11-10 all-time record, highlighted by a five-game win streak spanning from 1987 to 2001. BSU has had the most recent success, winning last year by a 17-9 margin.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (0-1) opens its home slate after a 10-5 loss at Gordon last weekend. Senior Charlotte Wagner and first year Julianna Rankin led the attack for MHC, each notching two goals. In net, senior Isa Rodriguez made eight saves. As a team, the Lyons held a 10-7 advantage in draw controls, while also holding a 21-20 edge in ground balls.

THE BEARS: Bridgewater State (0-1) enters the contest after dropping a 14-3 loss to Babson last Saturday.  Sophomore midfielder Elizabeth Ettridge posted a team-best two goals, while senior captain Melissa Renauld also notched a goal. First year Hayley Barner made a game-high 12 saves in net.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke will begin a four-game road trip on Wednesday, beginning with Westfield State University at 7:00pm. Bridgewater State will also be in action on Wednesday where it will matchup against Alfred on the road in Florida at 10:00am.
