THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke plays game two of a three-game homestand on Saturday, welcoming the Beavers of Babson College to the Turf Field. It marks the 32nd all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first contest in 1989 - a 15-7 MHC win. The Beavers hold the series advantage by an 18-13 margin, including wins in each of the last two contests.   

THE LYONS:
Mount Holyoke (1-5, 0-1 NEWMAC) shouldered a tough 14-6 loss to Emerson on Wednesday evening. Senior captain and attacker Julia Bell recorded a pair of goals with an assist, while classmate, fellow captain and attack Catherine Ryan had a game-best three assists with a goal. In the cage, junior Isa Rodriguez posted 12 stops.

200 POINTS:
Lyons senior captain and attacker Catherine Ryan became just the sixth player in program history to record 200 points on Wednesday. Ryan assisted on a goal from Bell at 13:17 of the second half to achieve her 200th career point. She now has 65 goals and 135 assists over 55 career contests.  

THE BEAVERS:
Babson (4-3, 0-0 NEWMAC) erased a three-goal second-half deficit, but saw Wesleyan score with 1:32 left in regulation to edge the Beavers, 9-8 on Wednesday evening. Sophomore Annie Arthur finished with two goals and one assist, while junior Francesca Giovanucci scored twice and added three draw controls to lead the Beavers.

NEXT UP:
Mount Holyoke concludes its three-game homestand on Wednesday evening against Wheaton in a Battle of the Lyons at 6pm. Babson is also in action on Wednesday, hosting Emerson at 7pm.
