Top of Field Hockey Poll Holds Steady

NFHCA Division III Poll (11/03/09)

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Nov. 3, 2009) - Messiah College is the nation's top ranked team for the eighth week in a row according to the most recent version of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Poll (11/03/09). The Falcons earned 48 first place votes to remain atop the rankings. Salisbury University sits in the number two position for the eighth in a row. Meanwhile, Ursinus College remains in the third slot for the third week in a row. The final poll of the season will be released next Tuesday.

The Division III National Championship is slated to take place at the Mount Holyoke Turf Field later this month. Over the course of the fall, the NFHCA Poll will be released each Tuesday. Check the Mount Holyoke Athletics website for links to the polls each week.
