Three Divers Open Competition on One-Meter Board at NCAA Division III Northeast Diving Regionals

Springfield, Mass. - February 28, 2020 - Three Mount Holyoke College divers opened up competition at the 2020 NCAA Division III Northeast Diving Regionals, hosted at Springfield College on Friday.

The trio of Samantha Nemivant (Scottsdale, Ariz.), Kathryn Murphy (Fairport, N.Y.) and Katie Kolozsvari (Danville, Ind.) all competed on the one-meter board, and all three placed within the top 20.

Nemivant, who was a four-time New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Diver of the Week during the regular season, took 13th overall with a score of 386.50 to lead the Lyons. Following suit was Murphy, who posted a score of 373.80 and Kolozsvari was 19th with a score of 362.10.

Up next will be the three-meter competition, kicking off at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 29.
