Jackie Ward enters her sixth season as the head basketball coach at Mount Holyoke College during the 2023-24 academic year. Ward also serves as a lecturer in physical education at Mount Holyoke.

Prior Coaching Experience

  • Assistant Basketball Coach - Hartwick College (2016-18)
    • Helped Hawks to Empire 8 Semifinals in 2017 (first time since 2014)
    • Recruiting Coordinator
  • Graduate Assistant Basketball Coach - Smith College (2014-16)
    • Coached Pioneers to 21 wins and on NEWMAC Tournament appearance.
    • Administrative Fellow and Events Manager
  • Graduate Assistant Basketball Coach - Nazareth College (2011-14)
    • Coached an Empire 8 All-Conference student-athlete and helped another finish as the program's all-time leader in three-pointers made. 
    • Helped coach the East Region Rookie of the Year, a Second-Team All-Conference honoree and four-time Empire 8 Rookie of the Week. 

Playing Experience

  • Binghamton University (2007-11)
    • Four-year standout, played in every game of her career.
    • Two-year starter and named captain prior to senior season.
    • Ranked No. 3 in America East for 3PT%.
    • Named to America East Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List.
    • Finished with 730 total points, 224 rebounds, 183 assists and 79 steals in 113 career games played. 

At Mount Holyoke College

  • Five student-athletes have been named to the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team, including Katlyn Grover '20 who was a three-time honoree at Mount Holyoke College.
