Cain Secures "Lyon of the Week" Honors
Senior Erin Cain has been named “Lyon of the Week” for the week of December 7-13. The guard averaged team highs of 10.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in a 1-1 week for the Mount Holyoke basketball team. She drained four three pointers and converted 75.0% (3-4) of her free throw attempts. Cain totaled eight points, four assists and a season best 11 boards in the Lyons 52-36 setback at Smith College on Wednesday. The captain then netted three treys in Mount Holyoke's 67-52 triumph over Clark University on Saturday. She finished with 13 points and four assists in the contest.
