SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Prior to the annual athletics awards celebration last night, 20 Mount Holyoke seniors representing 11 teams were honored as part of the College's seventh annual Scholar Athlete Reception. The recognition event highlighted those student-athletes who have excelled both on the field and in the classroom. It was organized by the Mount Holyoke Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Honorees included seniors with cumulative grade point averages of 3.5 or higher who have participated on a varsity team for three or more years. They were able to celebrate their accomplishments with select faculty and staff at the event.
