WELLESLEY, Mass. (Oct. 16, 2011) – First year Madi Mendiola continued her outstanding play with a second place finish at Wellesley College's Ann S. Batchelder Invitational this weekend. The rookie carded a two-day score of 154 (76-78) at the tournament, which was took place at Nehoiden Golf Course (par 72 - 5,860 yards).

Mount Holyoke also received a boost from first year Rebecca Berger, who took 23rd place with a score of 186 (93-93).

Williams cruised to the team title with a score of 644. The Ephs were followed in the top three by Amherst College (675) and Vassar College (682). Merrimack College, Wellesley and Mount Holyoke rounded out the field.

Georgiana Salant of Williams College secured medalist honors with a two-day tally of 150 (73, 77).

Mount Holyoke has completed its fall slate and will return to action in the spring.
