Last season the former Rancho Bernardo High School standout racked posted the second best scoring average in school history (81.27). In addition to five top-ten finishes, she ended the season ranked 12th in the region.

During her high school career, Mendiola was a four-year varsity athlete, serving as captain of the golf team. In addition to earning All-League recognition, she played in the California High School Girls State Golf Tournament as a sophomore and was a two-time participant at the First Tee Open at Pebble Beach.

Mount Holyoke returns to the course this weekend at the 2012 Middlebury College Invitational. Action begins on Saturday and runs through Sunday. The Lyons tee-off on Saturday at 1pm.
