THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Engineers of WPI for the 21st time in program history dating back to a 1-0 win by the Lyons in 1997. The Engineers currently hold a 15-3-2 advantage over MHC, winning the last seven of eight games, while tying 1-1 in 2015.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-9-1; 0-5-0 NEWMAC) enters the match after a 0-0 tie over Clark University in NEWMAC action on Tuesday. In the draw, junior goalkeeper Amanda Manaster kept the scoreboard clean with 17 saves. For the season, Sara Sanaú Ruiz leads the squad in points with 13 on six goals and an assist. Manaster remains as the saves leader in the conference with a total of 136.

THE ENGINEERS: WPI (8-4-1; 2-2-1 NEWMAC) comes in off of a 3-0 win over Emerson College on Tuesday. In the match, senior midfielder Mari Bailey was credited for the game-winner for her late goal. Junior keeper Gabriel Hoops had three saves on the night. Overall, sophomore midfielder Kristen McCrea lead the team in points with 18 on seven goals and four assists.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke will hit the road for a conference bout against RPI in Wednesday. Action is set to begin at 7:15pm. WPI will also be on the road to face NEWMAC opponent Wheaton at 4:00pm on Tuesday.
