THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes Wesleyan University for the 25th matchup all-time
dating back to 1979. The Cardinals currently hold a 13-10-1 overall record advantage, but the
Lyons have the most recent win in 2016 (2-0).

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-4-0; 0-1-0 NEWMAC) enters the fray on the heels of a 2-4
loss to Emerson on Saturday. Senior forward Sara Sanaú Ruiz and sophomore forward Hannah Finn-Erb each notched goals for Mount Holyoke, while junior keeper Amanda Manaster made seven saves on 11 shots. Overall, Sanaú Ruiz is tied for first in goals in the NEWMAC with five,
while Manaster is second in the conference in saves with 46.

THE CARDINALS: Wesleyan (2-1-1; 0-1-1 NESCAC) enters the match after a 1-1 tie last
weekend against Bowdoin. Junior defender Kayla O'Brien scored the lone goal and equalizer for the Cardinals in the 55th minute of the game. For the season, junior forward Liz Young leads the team with two goals and one assist.

NEXT UP: Both teams will resume conference action on Saturday. Mount Holyoke will be back
on the road against Wellesley at 1:00pm, while Wesleyan will be home against Bates at 11:00am.
