Emi Bisson captures NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors

WESTWOOD, Mass. -- Mount Holyoke sophomore midfielder Emi Bisson received NEWMAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors on Monday, April 22, following her stellar performances in the Lyons' games against Emerson, Salve Regina and Wellesley.

In the Lyons' 19-18 overtime loss to Emerson on Monday, Bisson (Chester, Conn.) scored a career-high eight goals, the most by any player in a NEWMAC game this season, to go with two assists and 13 draw controls. The 13 draw controls were the second-most by any player in a NEWMAC game this season. 

For the week, Bisson totaled 12 goals, five assists, 21 draw controls, four caused turnovers and six ground balls.
