THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Engineers of WPI on Saturday in the final regular season contest for both teams and the 30th all-time meeting between the two programs. The series, which dates back to the first meeting in 1977 - a 2-0 MHC win - is led by the Lyons, who hold a 19-10 margin over the Engineers. WPI has seen the most recent success, going 5-1 since the 2008 season. Mount Holyoke has the most recent win, posting a 3-1 decision in Worcester last season.

 MHC Logo THE MOUNT HOLYOKE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (4-21, 1-8 NEWMAC) saw junior outside hitter Emma Sweeting post a match-high 21 kills to lead the Lyons to a 3-0 victory over Smith on Tuesday evening. That win was the first for MHC over their longtime rivals since the 2011 season. First year outside hitter Katrina Meserve was also outstanding, recording eight kills with a team-best 15 digs. Through 25 matches, Sweeting leads the team with 289 kills. She has also added 20 service aces and 21 blocks. Senior middle hitter Rebecca Bland has 113 kills to go along with a team-high 27 blocks with 17 service aces, while sophomore setter Natalie Lyon has team-best's in service aces (29), assists (340) and digs (233).

Opponent Logo THE WPI ENGINEERS: WPI (11-19, 1-8 NEWMAC)  saw sophomore Kenzie Whalen hit a jaw-dropping .833 and Cassandra Tomerlin registered a double-double as the WPI posted a 3-0 sweep of visiting Simmons on Thursday night. Through 30 matches, first year outside hitter Melissa Daigle leads the team with 253 kills. She has also posted 11 assists, 31 service aces, 17 blocks and 268 digs. First year middle hitter Brooke Klepper has 148 kills and a team-best 42 blocks, while first year libero/defensive specialist Kelly Rathje owns a team-high 279 digs. Sophomore setter Shay Feeley is the team's leader in assists and ranks fourth in the NEWMAC with 669.
