MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- The Mount Holyoke College indoor track and field team saw a slew of personal-best performances, creating movement on the team's all-time top 10 lists in three events, at the non-scoring Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday.

First-year Elle Rimando (Mililani, Hawaii) put her name on a fourth all-time top-10 team performance list in the young season, as she made her collegiate debut in the 200-meter dash. Rimando already ranks second in team history in the 60-meter dash, third in the triple jump, and sixth in the long jump.

Rimando ran the second-fastest time out of 19 athletes in the 200, at 27.41 seconds, the eight-best time in school history, behind Jacinta Edebeli from 2011 (27.35) and ahead of Minerva Veeser-Bobea from 2017 (27.52).

Rimando also placed first among 13 athletes at the meet in the long jump, with a top distance of 4.87 meters (15'11.75").

Other Mount Holyoke highlights included:

  • Senior captain Emma Doyle (West Lebanon, N.H.) had the second-best mark out of 27 athletes in the shot put at 11.54 meters (37'10.5"). It is Doyle's second personal record this season in the shot put, 23 centimeters past her previous PR, and she remains fourth on the program's all-time performance list. She went 11.49 meters on her third attempt, and bettered herself on the fourth and final try of the day.
  • Doyle also placed fourth out of 23 in the weight throw, at 12.59 meters (41'3.75").
  • Sophomore Erin Siegel (San Diego, Calif.) placed ninth out of 23 in the weight throw with a personal-best effort of 10.30 meters (33'9.5"), which ties her for 10th place on Mount Holyoke's all-time performance list in the event with Maria Smith from 2004.
  • Sophomore Tessa Lancaster (Mansfield, Mass.) placed first among 14 runners in the mile, with a time of 5:31.45.
  • Senior Devan Ravino (West Kingston, R.I.) ran the fastest 1,000-meter time in a field of seven runners, at 3:18.36.
