THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Engineers of MIT on Saturday for the 29th time in program history. The series is deadlocked at 14-14, dating back to 1992 with an eight-game win streak for the Lyons. The Engineers have had the most recent success, winning its last four contests.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (3-8; 1-3 NEWMAC) enters the contest after an 11-6 victory at Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday. Junior midfielder Leila Kouakou led the attack with four goals, including three in a span of just under four minutes in the first half.  For the season, senior captain and attack Charlotte Wagner has a team-best 36 points and 31 goals.

THE ENGINEERS: MIT (5-6; 2-2 NEWMAC) comes into Friday's game after a 14-10 win over Smith College on Wednesday. Junior attacker Emily Young led the game with six goals, while first year midfielder Rayna Higuchi had four ground balls and a game-best seven draw controls. For the season, Young leads the team with 38 goals, while junior keeper Eva Boal has a team-best 105 saves in net.
 
NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke is back on its home turf on Tuesday, facing Connecticut College at 6:30pm. MIT will also be at home next Tuesday, matching up against Wheaton College at 7:00pm.
