Crawford is in her seventh season as a member of the Mount Holyoke Athletics Department. She serves as the head coach of the novice rowing team, while also assisting the varsity head coach. Additionally, Crawford is the equipment manage for the Lyons’ 14 varsity teams.

Last season, Crawford helped guide her novice team to one of its best seasons to date. The Lyons novice eight boat recorded four first-place finishes in 2013-14, including a Gold Medal effort at the NEWMAC Championships.

That boat also went on to record third overall at the New England Championships and second at the ECAC/NIRC Championship. During her tenure, Crawford’s novice team has recorded 23 victories and finished in the top three over 50 times.

Prior to her tenure at Mount Holyoke, Crawford helped establish the first high school rowing program in Southern Oregon, serving as an assistant coach for the organization.

Crawford, who has extensive rowing experience across the globe, was a member of the Rotorua Rowing Club in New Zealand. She helped her club earn its first-ever national title in the Club 4+ at the New Zealand National Championships in 2004. She also helped guide the Premier 2x to third overall in 2005.

A former rower at Mount Holyoke, Crawford helped the Lyons varsity eight to a Seven Sisters Championship title in 1996. Additionally, she helped the second varsity eight to victory at the 1994 Seven Sisters Championship.

Crawford, who is a member of USRowing and the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association, holds a Level 3 Coaching Certification from USRowing.

A magna cum laude graduate of Southern Oregon University, Crawford holds a Bachelors in psychology.
