WESTON, Mass. -- First-year Anna Induni scored twice and seniors Mollee Malboeuf and Kylie Brooks added a goal and an assist apiece as the Mount Holyoke College field hockey team won 5-0 at Regis College Wednesday night.

The Lyons (2-4) dominated the action throughout the game, outshooting the host Pride (1-5) by a 24-1 margin with a 10-0 advantage in penalty corners.

Induni (Manchester, N.H.) scored on an assist from Malboeuf (Fitchburg, Mass.) on Mount Holyoke's second corner of the game, only 2:20 into the first quarter. After a shot by senior Phoebe Aaronson (Mountain View, Calif.) was blocked, Malboeuf collected the rebound and sent a pass across from right of the net to the left side, where Induni (Manchester, N.H.) redirected it into the net.

Brooks (Oceanside, Calif.) fed Induni for her second goal of the game in the 16th minute, on a similar play. Brooks (Oceanside, Calif.) sent the ball across the field to Induni, who converted on another scoring chance for her second tally of the match.

Three minutes later, the Pride created an scoring opportunity, but Frankie Alley's shot was turned away by sophomore goalie Rachel Katzenberg (Reisterstown, Md.)

and in the 26th minute the Lyons went ahead 3-0 on their fourth penalty corner of the game, with Malboeuf knocking in the rebound after Regis goalkeeper Jocelyn White blocked her first attempt.

With 1:36 remaining in the half, the Lyons made it a 4-0 game, as sophomore Gracie Wilkinson (Amherst, Mass.) scored in her first game of the season, assisted by junior Cecilia Field (Burlington, Vt.).

Mount Holyoke continued to control the possession throughout the second half, punctuated by a goal from Brooks off a long pass by junior Caroline Thompson (Harwich, Mass.) for the final tally of the night. The goal was the 16th of Brooks' career, and Thompson registered her first career point on the play.

Brooks and Induni share Mount Holyoke's team scoring lead, with four goals, one assist and nine points apiece.

Katzenberg played the first 45 minutes in goal for the Lyons and made the team's lone save. Junior Leah Manning (Durham, N.H.) played the final quarter in goal, contributing to the team shutout. White tallied four saves for the Pride.

Mount Holyoke will host WPI Saturday at 12pm in the Lyons' first home NEWMAC game of the season.
