LEXINGTON, Ky. -- With three scoring performances, including junior Emmie Mirarchi's second national runner-up showing in as many days, the Mount Holyoke College hunter seat riding team remained in third place at the end of the second and penultimate day of the 2023 IHSA National Championships on Friday at Kentucky Horse Park.

With 28 points through two days, Mount Holyoke trails only Emory & Henry (34) and Skidmore (33.5) among 16 competing teams, and is in contention for its first national championship since 2006. Savannah College of Art & Design (27) and Long Island University Post (27) round out the top five.
