SETTING THE SCENE: Mount Holyoke College returns home for its final match of the regular season against the Beavers of Babson. The series dates back to 1989 where the Lyons opened up the series with five consecutive wins. Mount Holyoke currently holds the series advantage with a 16-14 record.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (10-10; 1-7 NEWMAC) enters the match after winning two of the last three matches. In the 3-0 win over Baruch College, junior middle hitter Jamesa Allen led wtih a season and career-high 21 kills.  In the following match against Westfield State, three different players registered double-digit kills, while sophomore middle hitter Sasha Simine and Allen had eight and seven total blocks, respectively. Overall,  Simine leads the team with 200 kills and is first in the NEWMAC in blocks per set, while Allen is second in the conference.

THE BEAVERS: Babson (17-8; 7-2 NEWMAC) comes into South Hadley after a 3-0 loss to Simmons  College on Wednesday. First-year Gaby Miller hit .389 and recorded eight kills, while sophomore Elizabeth Cameron added 19 assists, five kills and three digs for the Beavers.
Overall, Allie Puccio lead the squad with 263 kills, while sophomore middle Kristin Carosotto leads the defense with 58 total blocks.
