SETTING THE SCENE: Mount Holyoke College hosts a double-header on Saturday against Baruch College and Westfield State University. The Lyons will play it's inaugural match against Baruch, while the Lyons own a 12-9 advantage over the Owls in a series dating back to 1974. Mount Holyoke has the most recent victory in 2016, winning, 3-0.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (8-10) enters the day after a loss to Clark in NEWMAC action on Tuesday. In the loss, sophomore middle hitter Sasha Simine led the way with nine kills and three total blocks. First year setter Brayden Walden led the squad with 17 assists. Overall, Simine leads the team with 166 kills and is second in the conferecnce in blocks per set with 0.95. Junior middle hitter Jamesa Allen is the NEWMAC leader with 0.98 blocks per set.

A LOOK AT THE FIELD: Baruch College (10-13) enters Saturday after a 3-0 loss to New Jersey City University on Thursday. In their loss, sophomore middle hitter Yijia Cai and first year outside hitter Stella Chung led the attack with seven kills each, while sophomore Yeaslie Velasco notched a career-high five aces. Overall, Chung leads the team with 123 kills and first year setter Katherine Chen is right behind with 122. Westfield State (10-12) with enter Saturday coming in the midst of a four-game winning streak, most recently defeating Salem State, 3-2. Westfield senior captain, Brigid Murray recorded a season-high 52 assists, good for fifth most in a single match in school history for the Owls. Junior middle hitter Brianna Starkey leads the team with 158 kills.
 
UP NEXT: Both Mount Holyoke and Westfield will be in action at 7pm on Tuesday, facing Smith and Bay Path, respectively. Baruch will also be in action on Tuesday, battling Hunter College at 6:30pm.
