SETTING THE SCENE: Mount Holyoke will enter the first match, facing Westfield for the 21st time in program history. The first game dates back to 1974, which saw an Owls victory. WSU currently holds an 11-9 series advantage. The Lyons will go into the second match against Daniel Webster for only the third time. The squads split the first two matchups in 2010-11.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (4-14; 0-8 NEWMAC) comes off of a 3-0 victory over Albertus Magnus on Tuesday. The Lyons played one of their most balanced games of the year. Sophomore middle hitters Joy Maran and Sarah Caggiano, along with first year middle hitter Sasha Simine each turned in 10 kill efforts. Maran leads the team with 134 kills on the season, while senior captain and setter Natalie Lyon leads with 407 assists.

A LOOK AT THE FIELD: Westfield (11-14; 4-1 MASCAC) is coming off of a, 3-0 loss to Western Connecticut on Tuesday. Senior middle hitter Jen Green led the Owls with nine kills, while sophomore defensive specialist Lizzie Taylor had a match-best, 21 digs. On the year, Green leads the Owls in both kills (171) as well as blocks (43). Daniel Webster (17-7; 5-1 NECC) comes off of four consecutive 3-0 victories. In the most recent victoy over Lesley, junior middle hitter Hannah Koehler posted a match-best 16 kills, while junior setter Nicole Beard led the match with 34 assists. Through 24 matches, Koehler is the leader in kills with 247, while also leading with 43 total blocks.
