THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke is back on the court on Tuesday, welcoming the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez to South Hadley. It marks the 10th all-time meeting in the series, dating back to the first contest in 2000-01 - a 4-4 tie. The Lyons have seen the most success, owning a 6-2-1 all-time record, including wins in each of the last three matches. MHC posted a 6-3 win in Puerto Rico last season.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (8-6, 5-3 NEWMAC) shouldered a tough loss to Trinity on Saturday, falling to the Bantams by a 5-4 score. The Lyons saw outstanding efforts across the board, despite the loss, including wins by senior Michelle Cai and first year Clara Wang late in the match to pull it to within a one-point margin.

LAST TIME OUT: The two teams met in Puerto Rico last season during the Lyons spring break trip. MHC was powered by four singles victories and a pair of doubles wins enroute to the 6-3 decision. Holding a 2-1 lead after doubles, the Lyons saw Margaux Holloschutz pick up a first flight victory, winning the opening set by a 7-5 margin before her opponent retired. MHC went on for victories at the second, third and fourth positions.

NEXT UP: The Lyons are back in action on Saturday when they host Colby-Sawyer at 10am.
