THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Pioneers of Smith College for the final home dual meet of the 2016-17 season. This weekend's meet marks the 24th all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first meeting in 1974-75 - a 134-42 MHC win. Smith holds the series advantage by a 20-3 margin, but the Lyons have won each of the last six meeting.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke enters this weekend's action following a tough loss at Simmons last Saturday. The Lyons were paced by senior Katie Tyler, who won the 50-yard butterfly and helped the 200-yard free relay team to victory.

THE PIONEERS: Smith comes into Saturday's meet after finishing second of five teams at the 2017 Seven Sisters Championship. The Pioneers saw junior Elly Stone and first year Abigail Hanna each post top three off both the 1- and 3-meter boards.

NEXT UP: Both teams are now idle until February 16 when the conference converges on WPI for the 2017 NEWMAC Championships. Action runs from the 16th through the 19th with preliminary rounds at 10am and finals beginning at 6pm each evening.
