Title: Assistant Soccer Coach

A native of Howard’s Grove, Wisc., Oskey is in her second season as a assistant and goaltender coach for the Mount Holyoke soccer team. She comes to South Hadley from Lakeland College (Wisc.) where she played goaltender and defensive back on the soccer team. In addition to serving as a captain, she was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for three years.

Oskey, who was awarded an NCAA athletic scholarship within her conference as a junior, was a double major in exercise & sports studies and Spanish. During her career she also worked as an assistant soccer coach and goalie coach for the Howard’s Grove High School girls soccer team.

In addition to her academic and athletic commitments, Oskey also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for three and a half years before being medically released. Following her service, she enrolled in the exercise science and sport studies graduate program at Smith College. She is expected to complete her degree in 2014.

Prior to her collegiate career, Oskey was a three-sport athlete and captain of the cross country, basketball and soccer teams. She earned All-Conference honors as a goaltender in soccer during her senior year – the school’s first year as a varsity team. Additionally, she served on the Student Athletic Letter Committee.
