Krasniqi, a native of Kosovo, is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Mount Holyoke soccer team. An assistant coach for the FFC Pristine Women's Team in her native country, she is also an assistant coach for the Kosovo National Team.

Krasniqi has been a soccer official since 2000 and holds the distinction of being the first female official in Kosovo. With a Masters Degree in Physical Education, she has been a PE teacher since 2002, as well as an instructor for Cross Culture Project Association.
