THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke faces Wesleyan University on Saturday for the 23rd all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first contest in 1979. The Cardinals hold a 13-9 advantage, with the Lyons last win coming in 2004 as MHC bested the Cardinals, 2-1.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (1-2-0) is coming off of a valient effort defensively holding #19 Amherst to two just two talllies. Senior goalkeeper Zoe Marshall made 10 saves, while first year midfielder McKenna Lamb attempted two shots on goal. First year Hannah Finn-Erb and Lamb currently lead the team in goals with three each while sophomore forward Sara Sanau Ruiz boasts a team-high four assists.

THE CARDINALS: Wesleyan (1-0-0) enters the pitch following a 3-1 victory over UMass.-Boston. Senior forward Sarah Sylla scored two goals on five shots in Wednesday's game. Sophomore forward Olivia Gorman also scored a goal. First year keeper Claire Coyle picked up the victory in her first collegiate game, making two saves.  

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke returns to action on Tuesday as it continues its homestand against Western New England at 6pm. Wesleyan also returns to the pich Tuesday taking on Albertus Magnus in a home bout at 4:30pm.
