Under the direction of seventh-year head coach Tim Walko, the Mount Holyoke golf team put together a solid season, including the second straight All-League recognition for sophomore Stephanie Spitzer.

The season began at Wellesley's Nehoiden Golf Course for the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational in September as Spitzer led the way with a combined score of 168 to help MHC to a sixth place finish.

The Lyons then hosted the MHC Invitational at the Orchards, garnering a ninth-place finish. Sophomore Susan Lee emerged as the Lyons' top performer, ending the final round with a mark of 79, to finish with a combined score of 159 – good for 18th overall.

Spitzer had a solid performance the following weekend at the Middlebury Invitational, placing 19th overall (169). As a team, the Lyons finished sixth in the field.

MHC had another solid outing the next weekend at the Williams Fall Invitational as Spitzer finished 13th overall to help the team to a ninth-place finish. To close out the fall slate, Mount Holyoke finished fifth at the NYU Fall Invitational led by Lee, who finished tied for 20th overall with a score of 167.

Mount Holyoke kicked off the spring season in Florida, competing in several matches. The Lyons shouldered a tough 365-339 loss to Vassar at Indian Hills, before battling the Brewers and Hamilton two days later at Sandridge. MHC took third in the tri-match.

Heading into April, the Lyons placed 10th in the Vassar Invitational, followed by a seventh-place finish at the Jack Leaman Invitational. Mount Holyoke concluded the season placing sixth overall at the Liberty League Championships. This year's event, which was cut short to just one round due to inclement weather, saw Spitzer finish fifth overall to earn All-Liberty League First Team honors. It was the second straight year-end honor for Spitzer, who earned Second Team in her rookie campaign.
