THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke is back home for a contest against the Blue of Wellesley for the 60th time in program history. The series dates back to 1978 when the Lyons kicked off the series winning eight of the first nine games. Since then, the Blue have gained a 40-19 series advantage.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (0-19; 0-11 NEWMAC) enters the contest after a loss at home to Babson last Saturday. First year guard Raquel Fitzpatrick had a team-high 12 points and a pair of rebounds. Junior guard Leah Hodges added six points, four rebounds, and two helpers. Hodges leads the team overall with 9.3 points per contest. Defensively, Fitzpatrick is the leader in steals with 1.6 per game. Senior Kate Rawson has been strong on the boards with a team-best 6.4 per game.

THE BLUE: Wellesley (6-12; 3-8 NEWMAC) visits Mount Holyoke following a 44-26 loss to Babson on Wednesday. Wellesley sophomore Caitlin Aguirre  finished with seven points and four steals to lead the Blue. Senior Kayla Jang chipped in with six points, while sophomore Kendall You Mak added four rebounds and two assists. Overall, Aguirre leads the squad with 12.1 points per game, while first year Lane Arkangel is second with 7.6 per game. First year Alyssa Cho leads the team in rebouds with 5.3.

NEXT UP: Both teams are back in action at 7:00pm on Wednesday as Mount Holyoke heads to MIT, and Wellesley returns home to host Wheaton.
