THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke returns home to face the Bears of Coast Guard Academy for the 33rd time in program history. The series dates back to 1998 when the Lyons earned a 50-41 victory, which led to a 17-15 overall series advantage.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (0-15; 0-8 NEWMAC) is coming off a tough 53-44 loss to Green Mountain in non-conference action on Monday. In the effort, juinor guard Leah Hodges recorded her career-high with 22 points to go along with four points and three assists. Classmate Zahkeyah Allen also played well, nearly posting a double-double with seven points and nine boards. Hodges leads the team overall with 8.8 points per contest. First year guard Raquel Fitzpatrick is close behing, averaging 8.4.

THE BEARS: Coast Guard Academy (6-7; 3-4 NEWMAC) enters South Hadley on the heels of a 65-55 loss to Wellesley on Saturday. Junior guard Micaela Martinelli led the Bears with a 14 point, four rebound, and three assist performance. Off the bench, sophomore forward Breanna Farrington recorded a team-high eight rebounds, while junior guard Jayla Joyner had seven points and a pair of rebounds. Leading the team overall is Martinelli with a 12.5 points per game average.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke is back at home on Saturday to face Bryn Mawr College in non-conference action at 1:00pm, while the Bears head to Nichols on Thursday for a 7:00pm tip-off time.
