THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke returns home from a two-game road trip to host the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph on Tuesday. The teams face-off for the sixth time in program history, dating back to 1996. The Lyons currently hold a 4-2 series advantage over USJ.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (0-8) is back in action after a 78-54 loss to Mount Ida last Saturday. First year guard Raquel Fitzpatrick continued her strong play as of late, stuffing the box score with 13 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and six steals. Four of her rebounds came off the offensive glass. Sophomore guard Katlyn Grover also had a strong game with 19 points and three rebounds. Overall, Grover leads the team in points with a 13.0 average.

THE BLUEJAYS: Saint Joseph (5-3) enters the contest after a tough 71-65 loss to Johnson & Whales (RI) on Saturday. In the game, senior Kayla Guest posted her second consecutive double-double after matching her career-high with 31 points to go along with a game-high 11 rebounds. Senior captain Rajeen Mayo and first year Raelynn Voislow also reached double-figure points with 10 and 12, respectively. Overall, Mayo leads the team with 13.2 points, while Voislow is close behind with 12.0 points per game.

NEXT UP: Both teams are idle for the rest of the year, returning to action in early January. Mount Holyoke will return to the hardwood on January 3rd for NEWMAC action on the road against Coast Guard Academy at 7:00pm, while the Bluejays are in acton on January 2nd, hosting Nichols at 6:00pm.
