THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke is back in action on Tuesday, welcoming the Blazers of Elms College in the final non-conference match before NEWMAC play begins. It marks the 29th all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to 1982-82 - a 71-42 Lyons win. Mount Holyoke owns the series edge by an 18-10 margin, but the Blazers have seen the most recent success with victories over each of the last two seasons.   

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (0-3) is back in action following a loss to Pine Manor in the consolation game of the Curry College Tip-Off Tournament. Sophomore guard Katlyn Grover highlighted the contest, recoring a career and game-high 31 points on 11-of-25 shooting from the floor. She also added four three-pointers and five makes from the free throw line. Through the first three games, Grover leads the Lyons in scoring with a 14.7 points per game average. Junior captain Leah Hodges owns the top marks in rebounds per contest with 5.3 so far.

THE BLAZERS: Elms (0-3) enters today's contest following a tough loss to the host Fighting Scots at the Gordon College Tournament on Sunday. Senior guard Mackenzie LaRochelle scored a game-best 15 points in the effort, also aided by 11 points from junior forward Niah Pantry and 10 points from first year guard Regina LeBlanc.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke returns to action following the Thanksgiving break on Wednesday, hosting NEWMAC-rival WPI at 7pm. Elms is back on the court after break on Tuesday, welcoming Fitchburg State at 6pm.
