THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Pioneers of Smith College on Wednesday for the 71st time in program history. The series dates back to 1974-75, which saw a 62-34 victory for Smith. From the year of 1993 to now, the Lyons hold a series advantage of  21-19, including six consecutive wins from '02-'05. Overall, Smith currently owns a 42-28 advantage against MHC.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-20 overall; 0-14 NEWMAC) hits the hardwood foloowing a 68-30 loss to MIT in the teams final regular season road game on Saturday. Senior captain and NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week Xajaah Williams-Flores notched her fourth double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds to go along with three steals. Earlier in the week, she notched a career-high 19 boards against Norwich University, including 10 offensive.

THE PIONEERS: Smith (8-6 overall; 16-7 NEWMAC) enters the contest after a 61-49 win over Wheaton College on Saturday. The Pioneers were led by Kennedy Guest-Pritchett, a sophomore forward, who posted her 11th double-double of the season, with 23 points and 14 off the glass (nine offensive). Guest-Pritchett currently leads her team with 15.0 points and 10.4 rebounds a game.

NEXT UP: Both teams will play in their regular season finales on Saturday as Mount Holyoke hosts Coast Guard Academy (1:00pm), while Smith is at Emerson (4:00pm.
