THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Lyons of Wheaton College on Saturday for the 44th time in program history. The series began with a four-game win streak for MHC, spanning from 1977-1984. Currently, the visiting Lyons hold a 33-10 series advantage, winning each of the last seven matchups. The last Mount Holyoke victory came in 2013 when it won 51-49 at home.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-15 overall; 0-10 NEWMAC) are back on the court following a tough 92-30 loss at Springfield on Wednesday evening. The Lyons were paced by senior captain Xajaah Williams-Flores, who posted 10 points and a game-best eight rebounds.  First year Kathryn Violette also chipped in with nine points and four boards.

THE LYONS: WHEATON (3-16 overall; 1-9 NEWMAC) returns to action following a tight 32-30 loss to Roger Williams on Monday. First year forward Chelsea Rairdon led the Lyons with seven points along with five rebounds, while junior guard Ruthie Zientek finished with three points and seven boards.

NEXT UP: Both teams are back in action on Wednesday for NEWMAC contests. Mount Holyoke travels to WPI for a 7pm match-up, while Wheaton will be at  Emerson for a 7:30pm tip-off.
