THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Beavers of Babson for the 44th time in program history.  The series dates back to 1981, which saw the Beavers upend the Lyons, but MHC bounced back with three consecutive wins. Babson holds an 35-8 record, winning the last 15. The Lyons last victory came in 2006 with a 73-72 double overtime win.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-13 overall; 0-8 NEWMAC) enters the match after a 63-44 non-conference road loss to Plymouth on Monday. First year guard Katlyn Grover led the team with 11 points, connecting on three trey's. Grover has hit 11 threes over the last four games. Sophomore guard Leah Hodges posted double-figures for the first time this season with 10 points and seven rebounds. Overall, senior captain and forward Xajaah Williams-Flores leads the team, averaging a near double-double with 9.3 points and 9.8 rebounds.

THE BEAVERS: Babson (14-3 overall; 8-0 NEWMAC) is also coming off of a non-conference road loss to top ranked Tufts on Tuesday (60-46). Senior captains Giovanna Pickering and Taylor Russell led the Beavers with 15 points, respectively. Classmate and forward Jennifer Narlee had a big game on the boards, securing 12 rebounds to go along with seven points and three steals. For the season, Pickering leads with 17.6 points per game,
while Narlee leads in rebounds with 10.4.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke returns to action on Wednesday when it faces Springfield on the road. Babson will also be on the court on Wednesday at home against MIT. Both contests begin at 7:30pm.
