THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Engineers of WPI for the 40th time in program history. The visitors boast a 27-12 advantage dating back to 1976, which saw the Lyons upend WPI, 45-42. The Engineers enter the contest on a four-game win streak. Mount Holyoke's most recent victory came in the 2013-14 season when it won, 43-38.
 
THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-10 overall; 0-6 NEWMAC) is coming off of a 59-33 loss to conference rival, Wellesley on Tuesday. First year guard Katlyn Grover registered double-digits for the fourth time this season with 11. Senior forward and captain Xajaah Williams-Flores also had a strong game, posting 14 rebounds to go along with seven points. She has notched double-digit boards four times this season. Overall, Williams-Flores leads the team in points with 9.0, and also in rebounds with 9.5.  

THE ENGINEERS: WPI (13-2 overall; 5-1 NEWMAC) enters the contest following a 71-45 win over Emerson on Tuesday. Senior captain Priscilla Dunphy led the game in scoring with 16 points. Junior guard Amy Biney scored 12, while junior forward Madison Beck came off the bench for 15. For the season, Biney also leads her team in scoring with 15.1 points per game and rebounds with 6.3 boards per game.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke will hit the hardwood again on Saturday at Wheaton on the road at 1:00pm. WPI will be back in action on Wednesday, when it hosts Springfield at 7:00pm.
