The Lyons (1-0) advanced to Saturday's 3 p.m. championship game opposite Maine Maritime, a 56-50 winner over Simmons College in the first game. The Bobcats will play the Sharks in the 1 p.m. consolation game.
Mount Holyoke College Director of Athletics Lori Hendricks has announced the hiring of Jessica Duff as assistant basketball coach. Additionally, she will serve as an assistant to the Athletic Director. A former standout at Wellesley College, Duff will be involved in all aspects of the Lyons basketball program alongside head coach Michelle Scecina, as well as helping with a variety of events within the athletics department.
