THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke concludes its regular season home schedule on Saturday, welcoming the Engineers of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It marks the 39th all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first meeting in 1988 - a 4-1 MIT victory. The series stands at a 19-19 deadlock with Mount Holyoke owning a 5-1 record over the last six meetings.

SENIOR DAY 2016:
Saturday marks the final regular season home contest for Mount Holyoke's nine graduating seniors. Congratulations and thank you for all you have done for the program and MHC! This year's class includes, #00 Ally Tessier, #5 Charlotte Wagner, #7 Katherine Guinee, #8 Maura Anderson, #10 Jessica Taylor, #19 Ruvimbo Mushavi, #20 Rachel Lenihan, #21 Mariesa Mazzone and #55 Liz DiCesare.

On Saturday, the NEWMAC field hockey teams will join together in a unified fight against breast cancer. This day of competition serve as our Play 4 the Cure Day, a special day to spread awareness & honor those who have been affected by breast cancer. THE LYONS:
Mount Holyoke (9-5; 4-2 NEWMAC) come into Saturday's match-up following a 4-1 victory at Western New England on Thursday evening. The Lyons saw senior forward Charlotte Wagner record two goals with an assist, while classmate and keeper Ally Tessier had two stops to record the victory.

THE ENGINEERS:
MIT (10-3; 5-1 NEWMAC) is coming off a 5-2 win over Wellesley on Tuesday evening. The Engineers rallied from a 2-0 deficit behind a hat trick from sophomore Bailey Tregoning to defeat the Blue. First year Kate Brewer made the start in the cage, earning the victory with a two-save effort.

NEXT UP:
Mount Holyoke returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Westfield State for a 7pm match. The Lyons will then conclude the regular season next Saturday in a 1pm road game at Wheaton. MIT will be back on the field next Saturday, traveling to Babson for a 12pm showdown.
