Favorite MHC Tradition: I love our little campus songs

Why Mount Holyoke?: I thought I wanted to go to a large co-ed school, but after touring MHC became the school I compared everywhere else to. Everything I read talked about the students' "work hard, play harder" attitude and how every student is so incredibly driven and some of the busiest people you’ll ever meet. I knew that in an environment where my peers push themselves so hard, I would also be pushed to go further and do more than I maybe would have even tried to in other environments. MHC manages to foster an environment that encourages students to work hard and again, really push themselves while supporting their peers instead of competing against each other. The on-campus barn was a good bonus too :)

Favorite Quote: "You either go to the hospital or you get back on, hospital or on." -George Morris

Favorite Pre-Competition Snack or Meal: Hot Chocolate! (especially on the particularly cold show mornings)

What is one of your favorite books/movies/tv shows?  Neil Gaiman is my absolute favorite author, otherwise I love any story from the genre "queer fantasy"

Outside of my sport, my favorite thing(s) to do at Mount Holyoke is: to enjoy being out and about on campus, to soak up sun on a rare warm day, and to host cozy movie nights with friends.
