The Intercollegiate Horse Show Association has announced its recipients of the 2013 Intercollegiate Equestrian Foundation scholarships and Mount Holyoke College student-athlete Flynn Vickowski has been honored. The incoming senior was the lone recipient awarded for Zone 1, Region 3 and follows in a long tradition of MHC honorees.
With 29th-year head coach C.J. Law at the helm, the Mount Holyoke riding team continued to showcase why it’s among the top programs in the nation. During the 2012-13 campaign, the Lyons returned to the IHSA National Championships, garnering fourth overall. They once again finished at the top of the Zone 1, Region III standings and later secured the Zone 1 High Point Championship.

The win also secured the regional victory for the Lyons, who won by a 63-point margin to advance to the Zone 1 finals. The top two teams from Zones will advance to Nationals.
