Getting to Know Madeline

• Why did you choose to attend Mount Holyoke? - What first caught my attention was the incredible equestrian program. But as I began researching the college more I found so many things that I had been dreaming about for my college experience. It has the intimacy of a smaller institution but also the resources of the 5 College Consortium, the strength of the scientific research programs, the rave reviews of the professors and classroom experience and of course the campus is breathtaking. The college really fits me as an individual and I'm so glad that I made the decision to come here.
• What do you like best about Mount Holyoke? - I love the community here. There's a great collaborative environment, the professors are so willing to help you with anything and there always seems to be a fellow student around to answer any questions you might have. I'm so excited to be part of the equestrian team as a first year and I can't wait to see where the coming years take me!
• Best Sporting Event Ever Attended - The 2008 Track and Field Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR

• Place You'd Like to Visit - Hong Kong 
• First Memory of Your Sport - Riding at age four with one of my Dad's friends and having her teach me how to say "Daddy, can I have a pony?" 
• If You Had $1 Billion Dollars You Would - Take a couple years off and travel around the world, exploring new places and learning about the world's cultures.
