Cassandra “Sandy” Snow joined the Mount Holyoke College Athletic Training Staff as the Assistant Athletic Trainer in January of 2015.

She assists with the health care of and oversees the medical clearance process for all intercollegiate athletes. Additionally, she serves as a clinical preceptor for athletic training students from Springfield College and Westfield State University. When not in the Athletic Training Room, Snow can be found leading pool workouts for intercollegiate athletes as a form of post-injury rehabilitation, cross-training, core stability, and recovery.

Snow came to Mount Holyoke after serving as an athletic trainer for New Hampshire SAU #18 in Franklin, N.H. In that role, she provided home game coverage for a variety of sports, including varsity and junior varsity soccer and field hockey. Snow also spent the fall of 2014 providing ATC coverage for Plymouth State’s men’s and women’s rugby club teams, as well as the New England College men’s rugby club.

Additionally, Snow served as an instructor at Plymouth State University, aiding in the teaching of a number of undergraduate programs, including Introduction to Athletic Training and Injury Assessment I. She also assisted with Board of Certification test preparation for upper level undergraduate and graduate athletic training students by co-facilitating a forum discussion of contemporary issues in athletic training.

A member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Athletic Trainers of Massachusetts (ATOM) and the New Hampshire Athletic Trainers’ Association (NHATA), Snow graduated from Plymouth State with a Master's of Science in Athletic Training in 2014. She is an active member within ATOM, serving as a member of the Young Professionals Committee, and within NHATA, serving on the Golf Tournament Committee.
