Jennifer Mbah (Jamiaca Plain, Mass.) of the squash team has been selected as the Mount Holyoke College Athletics "Lyon of the Week" following a terrific string of performances over the course of the weekend.
Mbah, a junior Sociology and Psychology double major at Mount Holyoke College, has stepped up into the No. 2 position for the Lyons this semester, and has demonstrated great leadership during touch matches and continues to battle hard against tough opponents. Stepping up to the challenge once again this weekend, Mbah started with a four-game win versus Jill Mankoff of Wellesley, before rallying from down 2-0 to come back and beat Claire Weiss of Vassar in five games. On Sunday, Mbah fell to Eloise Nimoitya of No. 23 Dickinson and Emily Knapp of No. 18 Franklin & Marshall.
