RIDING

The Lyons closed out their fall regular season on Saturday, claiming victory at their Home Show. MHC posted 35 points to pass UMass Amherst, powered by a two-win effort and Overall High Point Rider honors for first year Grace Tice (West Simsbury, Conn.). Mount Holyoke returns to competition on December 5 when it competes at the Holiday Tournament of Champions event. Couldn't catch the show live? Fans can watch the entire event, archived at https://www.boxcast.com/show/#/riding-home-show.

SWIMMING & DIVING

Powered by four first place finishes from first year Bri Groves (Reston, Va.), Mount Holyoke posted a 155-77 victory at Western Connecticut State last Saturday. Groves touched the wall first in the 50-back, 100-breast and 50-fly, while also helping the 200-medley relay team to victory. The Lyons (3-1) return to action on Friday, December 4 when they travel to Clinton, N.Y. to compete at the Hamilton College Invitational. Action begins on Friday at 4pm and continues all day Saturday, beginning at 10am.

BASKETBALL

The Lyons shouldered a pair of losses last week to Worcester State and Norwich. MHC (0-4) is right back on the court on Tuesday when it travels to Westfield State for a 5:30pm match-up with the Owls. The Lyons then close out the week on Sunday when they open their NEWMAC schedule at home against Babson. Tip-off is set for 3pm.
