Junior Cathleen Pruden (Raleigh, N.C.) will return to the pool on March 18-21 when she competes at the 2015 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships at the CISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas. The 2015 NEWMAC Swimmer of the Year will compete in the 200-IM, the 400-IM and the 1650-freestyle at this year's meet.
The Lyons went 2-0 last week, defeating Westfield State (15-8) and Bridgewater State (13-11) at home. Senior captain and midfielder Kirsten Kilburn (North Branford, Conn.) had a solid week, posting six goals, with 11 ground balls, 16 draw controls and seven caused turnovers combined. MHC (2-1) is back in action on Tuesday when it travels to Western New England University for a 4pm game. UPDATE: A note to fans who are planning on attending the game at Western New England on Tuesday, due to all the snow in the area, the seating in the stands will be unavailable at the game. There will be some standing room to view the game, but it will be limited.

The Lyons saw junior Camille Coklow (Chicago, Ill.) win the 2015 60-meter dash title at the ECAC Championships last weekend. She tied her personal-best with a time of 7.71. Additionally, senior Dana Fry (Tempe, Ariz.) recorded a personal-best in the 5,000-m run, while junior Elizabeth DeLeon (Boise, Idaho) broke the school record in the 1,000-m race.
Coklow, who is ranked ninth in DIII in the 60-m dash, will see her season continue this weekend as she travels to Winston-Salem, N.C., to compete at the 2015 NCAA Indoor Championships. The meet, which will take place at the JDL Fast Track, begins on Friday and runs through Saturday.
The Mount Holyoke riding team claimed victory in its seventh straight regular season meet last weekend to remain undefeated thus far. The Lyons were led by sophomore Bridget Finnerty (Baltimore, Md.), who earned High Point Rider honors at the conclusion of the event. Mount Holyoke, which increased its lead in the region to 53 points and clinched a berth at the Zone Championships, return to action on on Saturday, March 28th with the final regular season show at UMass. That will be followed by Regionals the next day at Biscuit Hill Farm.
Mount Holyoke opened the spring portion of its season on Sunday, shouldering a tough 9-0 loss on the road at Bates College. The Lyons saw several strong efforts against the Bobcats, including a 6-4, 6-2 loss in the sixth position by junior Michelle Cai. MHC (7-7), which will travel to Puerto Rico for training trip on the school's spring break, is back to action on April 11-12 when it competes at the Seven Sisters Championship, hosted by Smith College.
The Lyons rowing team is headed south for break! MHC, which is traveling to Georgia and South Carolina during the spring break period, will get things going on March 20 when they scrimmage Smith, William Smith and Trinity on Lake Lanier in Georgia. The Lyons will open its home season on March 29 when it hosts Bryant and Amherst in a regatta at the MHC Boathouse.
