Mount Holyoke returns to action on January 20 when it takes part in the Winter 1 Classic of the Tournament of Champions, hosted by Ohio University.
Mount Holyoke (1-3) is idle until Thursday, January 11 when it travels to Clark to compete against the Cougars and Wheaton College (1pm). Fans can follow all the action live (when available) at http://athletics.mtholyoke.edu/sports/wswimdive/2017-18/schedule.
Mount Holyoke will be back in action on January 12th at Wesleyan University at 3:00pm.
BASKETBALL
The Lyons shouldered a pair of losses last week to Springfield and Mount Ida. MHC was paced in the 78-54 loss to the Mustangs on Saturday by first year guard Raquel Fitzpatrick (Providence, R.I.), who fell just four assists shy of a triple-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. MHC (0-8; 0-3 NEWMAC) is back in action on Tuesday when it closes out the 2017 portion of its schedule in a 6pm game against the University of Saint Joseph at the Mildred S. Howard Gymnasium. Mount Holyoke saw Mother Nature interupt its plans this weekend, as snow in the Northeast forced the Lyons to cancel their participation at the Rhode Island College Invitational on Saturday due to driving conditions. MHC will be back in action on January 20 at 11am when it competes at the Smith College Invitational.
